Getting Started

First of all we encourage you to review our website and become familiar with our firm and philosophy. The next step is to call Jim Freeman or Chris Jaccard to discuss your personal situation. They will answer any questions you have and they will also ask you questions about yourself and your current financial situation. If it is determined during this phone conversation that our services are a good fit for your needs, a complementary initial consultation will be scheduled at our office to further explore the possibility of working together.

Our Fees

After our initial complementary meeting we charge $500 to proceed to the next step, which we refer to as our data gathering and quote process. This process involves gathering all of your financial data and then preparing a quote for engaging our services on a retainer basis. Generally, no separately itemized financial planning fee is charged. 

In an effort to ensure that we are able to provide the highest level of services to our clients, we have implemented the following annual retainer fee schedule: 1% on the first $500,000 of assets managed, 0.875% on the next $500,000, 0.825% on the next $500,000, 0.75% on the next $500,000, 0.65% on the next $500,000, 0.55% on the next $500,000 and 0.50% on assets above $3,000,000. Our minimum annual retainer is currently $17,250 for new clients. We do occasionally make exceptions to this minimum. Our fees are often tax-deductible.
